Masala Pasta

Ingredients –

Macaroni Pasta 1 ½ cup (you may use any type of pasta)

Water 1 liter

Oil 5-6 tbsp

Onion 1/2 cup

Capsicum 1/2 cup

Boiled corn kernels 1/2 cup (optional)

Garlic 2 tsp

Red chili powder 2-3 tsp

Red Chili Sauce or ‘Maggi Hot & Sweet sauce’ 2-3 tbsp

Mustard Sauce 1 tbsp

Cornflour 1 tsp

Salt to taste

Method –

We will start with the preparations of the recipe by boiling the pasta. We will add pasta and water in a large pot and the add 4 tbsp oil to it. Pasta will take approximately 15 minutes to get cooked. Stir the pasta occasionally and see to it that the pasta doesn’t stick to each other. Once it is done, drain the water from it.

In another pan, take 2 tbsp oil and add garlic, onion and capsicum. Saute the veggies till they cook.

Add boiled corn kernels.

Add salt to taste.

Now add red chili powder, mustard sauce and red chili sauce or Maggi hot and sweet sauce and mix it.

Take ½ cup of water, add corn flour to it and mix. Pour it into the veggies.

Now let it cook for 4 to 5 minutes and then take it off the flame.

In a serving dish or bowl take the hot boiled pasta and add our prepared mixture of veggies on the top of it.

Our ‘Masala Pasta’ is ready!
